A significant event and decoration for the end of 2016 for the business community of the Far East region of the year was the 115-th meeting of the gala – reception in honor of the New year the Business-Club «Dialogues» for owners and managers of business enterprises far Eastern Federal district and Pacific rim countries.

«Dialogues», as the famous Business-Club with a 10-year history, continues to evolve, expanding territorial influence and taking to the Club new members, but also showing a good example of the ability of the business community to change the world for the better.

Last year the Business-Club «Dialogues» initiated a charity campaign «Life is given for good deeds», which marked the beginning of a new tradition within the new year meeting. Last year the charity event raised the subject of family values. Guests of the meeting were able to buy exclusive Christmas toys, handmade designers from St. Petersburg. The proceeds purchased the blankets for the elderly Artemovsky orphanage for elderly and disabled. The question of the contents of older people has recently become increasingly important. According to statistics, in Russia 8 out of 10 elderly people living in nursing homes, have loved ones who simply refused them.

This year on Thursday 15 December at a gala reception charity event was held in conjunction with one of the largest charitable foundations in Russia — Rusfond, the mission of which is to help seriously ill children.

Business-Club «Dialogues», geographically located in the East of Russia and focuses its activities on the cooperation with countries in the Asia-Pacific region, takes into account all geographical, cultural and ethical peculiarities. For example, in Japan in anticipation of the New Year, the traditional Daruma doll helps in fulfillment of desires. Its feature is what initially draw her eyes without pupils. First, the owner of the doll should make a wish, then paint the pupil in one eye of the doll. This interesting cultural tradition was embodied in the meeting: buy a Daruma, make a wish, helping to get closer to the dream of not only themselves, but for needy children. All collected from the sale of a goal doll at the event, will be officially transferred to Rusfond.

The business community will continue to support the idea of charity, showing an example of the tremendous power that is subject to each person — the opportunity to do good, to give hope and make someone happier and healthier.

The charity campaign will last until the end of December 2016.
