«Goals and priorities for the development of medicine: Project of implementation of the law on Telemedicine» was the theme of the 125th meeting of the International Business Club «Dialogues» for owners and managers of business enterprises far Eastern Federal district and Pacific rim countries.

30 July 2017 the President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a law on telemedicine, allowing to provide medical care through consultations and consultation, providing remote interaction between doctors and patients interconnected.

To increase life expectancy in the Far East it is necessary to increase the availability and quality of medical assistance to provide medical services in remote areas of the Far East. This is one of the main goals of the demographic policy concept of the Russian Far East for the period up to 2025 approved by the Russian Government.

The meeting was held at the Medical centre of FEFU, a pilot project of the Government of the Russian Federation for the first time a medical institution under the Ministry of education. In his report, Oleg PAK, chief physician, answered questions concerning telemedicine and thanked the participants for their interest in the subject.

Julia TROYNICH, General Director of the network of medical laboratories «Unilab» (member of the Business Club «Dialogues») in her speech pointed out the necessity of creating a working infrastructure of telemedicine in Russia. Which would include consulting center, and control room, and a set of protocols and standards.

International experience of applying telemedicine the participants of the meeting told Svetlana DENISOVA, General Director of the first joint Russian-Japanese medical center «HOKUTO».

With a report on telemedicine service was made by Evgeniya SYSOEVA, Director of the branch of JSC «MTS». Evgeniya was focused on how a large Corporation responds quickly to developments in the new law.
