«Food industry of the region: status, prospects and development tools»— the theme of the 130th meeting of the International Business Club «Dialogues».

The share of food industry enterprises accounts for 14% of the total production of the industrial complex of the country. In the food industry, the second place is occupied by the production of dairy products and cheese.

Today, the dairy industry faces two key challenges: first, it is necessary to reduce dependence on imported dairy products, ensuring its replacement with products of its own production. Secondly, it is necessary to increase the consumption of dairy products by the population.

Traditionally, two meetings a year are offsite. Members of the Business Club go on excursions to the enterprises of the Far Eastern region.
