The transport infrastructure of the region is the “Gateway of Russia” in the most dynamically developing Asian direction of transportation and a growth driver for the economy, since the routes of international transport corridors that form a single Eurasian transport space pass through the territory of the district.
In the course of their speeches, the experts of the meeting outlined the key projects and current market development trends.

Elena Kazarina  — Director of the Commercial Department of VMTP PJSC: “The Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port is operating as usual. Despite the changing situation in logistics, we continue to fulfill all our obligations. In 2020-2021 VMTP became the first in the country in terms of container turnover, and at present we maintain this position. The meeting of the Dialogues Business Club is useful for the port in that it brings together logisticians, railway employees, representatives of foreign economic activity and business, thanks to the interaction with which we can provide customers with the best service.”

As Viktor Demyanko, Head of the Far Eastern Territorial Center for Branded Transport Services, Branch of Russian Railways JSC Far Eastern Railway, noted, today Russian enterprises and the whole country face great challenges associated with the reconfiguration of production activities. Under these conditions, Russian Railways and the Far Eastern Railway will continue to implement infrastructure projects, introduce new technological solutions, do everything to ensure the stability of the domestic economy, provide comprehensive assistance to users of railway transport services in solving priority tasks of developing and increasing the production potential of enterprises.

Petr Kuznetsov  — Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics of VSUES: “Special attention in the development of the Far East and the Arctic is paid to personnel training. And without specialists in the field of transport and logistics, the activity of any organization is impossible. Therefore, considering the situation with the development of the transport infrastructure of the region, the issue of staffing is a priority. Now it is necessary to interact with employers at the early stages of student preparation, so that he understands the real situation in the market where he is going to work as early as possible. Most employers now realize that it is necessary to focus on the training of young people, and the discussion at the meeting showed the willingness of industry companies and universities to cooperate in a variety of formats.
